Healthy and Sweet Cranberry Sauce - 4th Day of Vegan Christmas

"On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love made for me... A bowl of Sweet Cranberry Sauce" 🎄😍 Finally, a cranberry sauce that isn't a syrupy mess! This cranberry sauce recipe is refined sugar-free, simple and perfect for Christmas dinner. Plus we only used 4 ingredients!


• 4 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen

• Juice from 1/2 lemon

• 1/2 cup maple syrup

• 3 tbsp ground chia seeds


1) In a small saucepan combine cranberries, lemon juice and maple syrup.

2) Stir gently and bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, until berries are warm and bursting.

3) Stir in the chia seeds and continue to cook for an additional minute, until thickened. Cool and store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks. Ready for the rest of Vegan Christmas?Check it out the rest of the 12 days of Christmas!
