Vegan Waffle Recipe

All hail the vegan waffle! Breakfast is probably one of our favourite meals. We used to fondly remember those crispy waffles offered in hotels or diners but can't stand the thought of biting into an eggy, cholesterol-filled waffle.

We came up with a simple recipe that will provide you with a batch of killer, crispy waffles. Be sure to share this with your family and friends!

This recipe makes 6 to eight amazing waffles...


  • 1 cup oat flour

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup unsweetened plant milk

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp ground flax

  • 1 mashed banana Optional: Toasted almonds & coconut, chocolate chips, mixed berries, etc.


  1. Mash banana in a mixing bowl.

  2. Mix apple cider vinegar with unsweetened plant milk and let sit for 5 minutes.

  3. Add all ingredients into mixing bowl and mix well.

  4. Heat waffle iron on high.

  5. Pour batter into waffle iron.

  6. Prepare your toppings.

  7. Serve immediately.
